I have downloaded Firefox firefox-6.0.2.tar.bz2 on my linux machine. I am not run the setup as usual i do on my windows. Please do direct me to any documentation for the setup.

Tried to unzip the tar. Then run firefox.sh from root. But no use.

Firefox doesn't use a setup program on Linux. You can simply extract the files in the tar.bz2 archive to a folder and crate a launcher to run the firefox script.
