Is there a way to find out why an add-on has been removed from the Mozilla "Add-Ons" website?

I have been happily using "ISBN Linker," an add-on that I heard about from a few different sites and installed from Mozilla's "Add-Ons" website only a few months ago. I went to the site today to install this add-on on a new computer, and I received the message that nothing could be found under that name. As far as I can tell, it's been entirely removed from the add-on repository (Google Cache still shows some remnants of its existence).

Is there any way to find out why it was removed? It's not that I want to argue for why it shouldn't be there, but rather that if it was simply that it hadn't been updated, or perhaps that it was even just removed by the creator, I'd take a shot at re-creating the add-on and resubmitting it. If, though, it was removed for some other reason, I'd love to know so I avoid any problems!

That add-on was never reviewed by Mozilla. Mozilla has recently tightened the rules concerning add-ons that appear on the add-ons site. They sent out emails to add-on developers for any unreviewed add-ons, informing them that if they wanted their add-on to remain on the add-ons site they would need to request that it receive a security review. Any that did not request a security review had the add-ons disabled so that it no longer appears on the add-ons site.
