How to disable Ctrl+Shift+J shortcut key which is used for Error Console in FireFox 3.6.8? I want this key to be available for an online platform InfraWare Transcription Client 2009 (ITC2009) where it is required. About a week back I have started using this platform to do online medical transcription. I have Windows XP Professional SP2 with Internet Explorer 6 along with Mozilla Firefox 3.6.8 which is set as my default browser. I also use MS Word 2003. The ITC2009 online platform runs on Internet Explorer. So while ITC2009 is running I also have FireFox 3.6.8 running my Google search engine.

You can try to disable that shortcut with the Keyconfig extension.

The Error Console click is visible in Tools of FireFox 3.6.8. Against it is mentioned the shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+J. How can I do away with this shortcut key? If I want to see the Error Console, I can click at it. This shortcut key of FireFox is interfering with this very shortcut key on InfraWare Transcription Client 2009 on which I work online and which is set to run on Internet Explorer only.

I thank you for asking me to go through a whole gamut of an article on Key Configuration much of which is Greek to me. I am getting nowhere doing that.

I have the same problem cor-el, Just need to disabling another shortcut control+shift+a that lead into ads-on page. and I need these combination for another action. I look into the websites you list but can not find any.
