Firefox 3.6.4 keeps crashing!
So for the past 5 days, firefox will not stop crashing. Whether I'm on YouTube, Last FM, or just checking my email on Yahoo, Firefox crashes abruptly. I get a little box that pops-up, stating "Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts. To help us diagnose and fix the problem, you can send us a crash report." When I to send an error report or check the box that says "Tell Mozilla about this crash so they can fix it," I get the response "That was a problem submitting your report." I've done everything suggested, from trouble shooting, to disabling all my plug-ins & extensions, uninstalling & reinstalling, running Firefox through Safe Mode, et cetera, yet despite all this, the crashes persist. I don't want to return to Safari, Google Chrome, or IE, yet I feel as though I have no choice with this obdurate and, frankly, obnoxiously annoying crashes. It's incredibly ironic that Firefox just launched an update which reduces crashes, yet now, more than ever, crashes are most prevalent.

Post your crash report IDs in this thread so that someone here can try to help you. Type about:crashes in the URL/address bar, press the Enter key, copy and paste the crash IDs into your message.

I am having the same problem. Also some of the online games I play online won't load properly.
I've also found that Firefox 3.6.4 is crashing on visiting a number of sites, which earlier versions never did. I can repeat the crash, for example, by visiting a particular Google Calendar Help page. It does not happen with MSIE.

I just downloaded the update, and none of the facebook games last more than 2 minutes before firefox crashes.
I've windows 7 and it keeps crashing too.
It seems that Fire Torrent Version 1.1pre , is causing the crash.
I found that Firefox worked fine in Safe Mode (available in the Start menu), so I re-ran Firefox proper, disabled half the add-ons, and then disabled the half of the half still causing the problem, until I found the culprit.

Why does this "Crash Protection" crash my computer, I am in hell right now.

What happens if you run FF in safe mode and opt to disable all add-ons?
I had the same problem as Ian w/ constant crashes after upgrading to 3.6.4. I disabled Fire Torrent after seeing his post about it as source of problem. 15 minutes so far and not one crash. Thank you!!
Where can I get 3.6.3 because 3.6.4 is crashing constantly?
Same thing here. Disabling the FireTorrent Plugin solved the issue.
Same here. 3.6.4 crashes about the same frequency as 3.6.3 did but on different pages. Pages that I've gone to without problems for literally years, now trigger random sporadic crashes. Often it happens without a crash report. For instance, it has crashed at least twice in the last two days, but about:crashes shows no sign of them.
I'm truly tired of Fire Fox, ever since 3.5 this has been crashing and hanging at least 5 to 10 times a day! Please do something to fix it or people like me may go to another browser altogether.

The shockwave plugin was causing crashes for me. Ironically, adobe's site was crashing too.

I have been sending the reports & reporting this problem. Firefox seems to want to ignore the problem. It crashes several times a day for months. Nobody responded and it still crashes.
