This is a bit of an odd question, but I'm gutted. I have pretty severe OCD and AI tools have become very problematic for my reassurance seeking behaviors. I just got all of them blocked using tools like coldturkey and screen time. Now as of this update they're all in my firefox sidebar, and so far I see no way to block, only hide them (the trouble here is I know it's there, if I'm feeling a compulsion it's incredibly difficult not to follow through). Is there any iron clad way to block this? I hate how hard these things are being pushed!

Hi,

Really sorry to hear that. To make it clear, have you tried clicking Customize sidebar and unchecking AI chatbot?

Also remember, that Firefox does not send any of your data to AI providers unless you specifically instruct it to do so. Thus, if you don't actually use AI, they will receive no information about you.
