after recient update of firefox, it seems all my bookmarks have disappeared along with my passwords.

all bookmarks have disappeared along with my passwords. how do I get them back? previous answers haven't helped. before that, I would have trouble playing video and audio together, if I turned the audio off the video would work then when I turned the audio back on the video stopped. I am about ready to delete Firefox and use another browser.
