Hi, I'm not sure where you are trying to add the email address.

Webmail Access

Is the problem that you are trying to sign into your email website (for example, Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo) using a different address, but Firefox keeps signing you in using the other one? This could be a problem with Firefox's password manager being a little to eager to fill the form for you. Ref. Password Manager - Remember, delete and edit logins and passwords in Firefox.

Firefox Account

You can set up a Firefox Account to share data between multiple installations of Firefox, for example, on your Mac and on a mobile device. A Firefox Account can have a primary email address and also a secondary email address. However, this doesn't affect whether you can check email on your email account. Ref. Add a secondary email address to Firefox Accounts.
