No such option exists currently. There is a RegEdit custom user feature but you have to look online for this option and how to do it and read the instructions for it. And "use at your own risk" if you choose to do this to block or stop Updates.

Here is a picture of it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it persists. Deeper in the settings, it says firefox is up to date but then there is this in the drop down menu.

Is this the "help" Mozilla offers? Some rando says it isn't happening and then disappears? Is there no actual tech support for this browser? I literally just updated it with a direct download from the Mozilla website and it is still saying there is an update that can only be accomplished with a manual update. This browser is acting pretty virus-like at the moment.

Type about:config in the address bar, then press Enter .

   Search for the app. update. auto setting.
   Double-click the app. update. auto option to toggle the setting. If set to true , automatic updates are enabled. If set to false , automatic updates are disabled.
