How to disable the automatic display of the URL and Search DROPDOWN PANELS when clicking these fields?

Hello everyone,

are there equivalent options to 'browser.download.alwaysOpenPanel' (see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1370567#answer-1521671) that would allow to DISABLE the automatic display of the URL and Search fields' panel?

I find these panels visually too invasive, and I don't need them most of the time (while being happy of their existence, but I'd expect them to appear when I ask, not each and every time I click the URL or Search field!).

If no such options exist, would it be possible to add them?
