Firefox 100.0.2 (64-bit) does not work on Amazon web site
Fix Firefox 100.0.2 (64-bit) browser. I am using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Version 21H2 OS Build: 19044.1706 Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 120-2212.4170.0
Let me give you a scenario.
I cleared my cookies.
Go to https://www.amazon.com. From the drop-down at the top of the page (it now shows All) select a product area. I selected "electronics". I now type in "batteries" in the search field. The screen goes black. The tab is now unresponsive.
Another example. Go to https://www.amazon.com. From the drop-down at the top of the page (it now shows All) select a product area. I selected "Kindle Store". Now I selected any book (I typed in "Killing th" and the drop-down showed "killing the illers bill oreilly. A small book shows up in the middle of the screen (which is now grayed out). I can select "orders" and the orders are shown but they are skewed in an abnormal fashion (i.e. not displayed as they were on the previous version of Firefox). I hit the back arrow and click on the small icon of the book displayed and I am on the page for that book. However scrolling down shows that the page is displayed in an abnormal fashion and I can no longer click on "orders" (nothing happens when I click on this drop-down.
I cannot order anything and I need to hit the back arrow to return to the previous page in order to log off of Amazon.com.
I use Firefox by choice. However my least two browsers in the world (Chrome and Edge) both sill work on Amazon.
I REALLY REALLY do not want to use those browsers for ordering on Amazon. Please fix Firefox. I like it more, believe it's more secure and I really prefer that browser. Please help me by fixing your browser.
One more thing: I just updated Firefox today. It worked fine yesterday..

I just tried to order a gift card from Amazon using FF 99.x (I don't recall the decimals) and it did not work. Amazon kept deleting the amount & said a minimum of $1.00 was need. I tried a couple amounts & they did not work. Also tried a different gift card but that didn't work. But entering $1.00 did work, twice. Cleared the cache but to no avail. I have uBlock Origin turned off for Amazon.
I proceeded to upgrade to FF 101.0.1 but that doesn't work either.
I tried Windows 10 Edge & it worked.

Installed 100.01(64-bit) and it still has the same problems.
If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems
You can check the Web Console for relevant-looking messages about blocked content.

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:
You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings).
"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"
"Clear the Cache":
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> [X] Cached Web Content -> Clear
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache
Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
These (starting with 100.0.2 (64-BIT)<--problem on Amazon website (cannot use to order) show the back level firefox versions that did not work until 99.0.1 (64-bit)<--This level of Firefox works on Amazon
Backleveled to 100.0.1 (64-bit)<--same problem
Backleveled to 100.0 (64-bit)<--same problem
Backleveled to 99.0.1 (64-bit)<--This level of Firefox works on Amazon
I tried turning off various protection levels and reloading the page with no results. We use amazon all the time, so this issue just started within the last couple of days. I am on 100.0.02 also. My Safari browser works fine with amazon. I tested other websites we use on Firefox and none of them has this issue so far. I don't use any extension add-ons. Cleared out old cache and cookies etc. No dice!
I am running from an iMac on High Sierra OS.
June 15 2022 update: I am on 101.0.1 of FireFox and Amazon is working fine, so I think it is fixed now - or amazon fixed themselves.
