Running Old Version, create new profile
Weekly, and sometimes multiple times a week, I boot my laptop up and i get a message that says I am running an older version of firefox and need to create a new profile or exit. Nothing has changed since the day before, why does this keep happening?

This is a known issue with Firefox 67. That version of Firefox creates a new profile instead of using your old profile.
- Go to about:profiles.
- Choose Set as default profile under default. Try the other profiles if this does not fix the problem.
If you cannot even start Firefox because of the warning:
- Search for "Firefox" in your start menu. Right click the Firefox app in the search results and choose Open file location.
- Go to the Properties of the shortcut called Firefox and edit the "Target" value: Add a -p after the end quotes. OK to save the shortcut.
- Launch the shortcut, choose default, and check the box for Use the selected option without asking at startup.
- Remove the -p after these steps (assuming the problem is fixed).
