Proton: URL bar offers a list of autocomplete results before any characters have been typed
Pretty much as the title says. I'm finding that the URL bar offers up an autocomplete list of sites, search suggestions, et al, before anything has been typed. It's the tiniest thing, but for some reason it feels presumptuous. More like it doesn't need to happen. Is there a way to adjust this behaviour?

Hi
Yes, this is something that you can change. I recommend that you have a look at this article for help with this:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/search-suggestions-firefox
That's not what I'm asking about. I don't want to turn the suggestions "off", I want them "not to appear unless I have typed a character". That's the default behaviour for every other browser, and was the default behaviour for FF until... recently?
Edit: This is what I mean (see image). Notice how the suggestion list has "already" expanded even though I haven't typed anything? It's the same when I click the URL bar when there is "already" a complete site navigated to, and the URL bar contains a URL. Neither of these behaviours is normal - the suggestion box should not be appearing unless I have actually typed a character (or deleted a character).
