I've backed up my profile many times with nary a problem. Tonight, while attempting to copy it, the attached message was displayed. Typical for a Microsoft error message, it was most unhelpful. No clue as to which file name is the offender.

What is the full name/path of the file? Remember that its the length of the fine name And the path that causes this error.

I agree that it appears to be a Windows issue. I'm just hoping that someone here has seen this before and knows what's causing it. But it also seems to be an FF issue. Since we users don't muck around with the profile, all the files and their names and their paths are generated by FF. As I wrote, Microsoft's typically unhelpful message doesn't specify which file caused the error message to display and I haven't the faintest idea which file it's referring to.
