I am no tech guru. Everything I have searched for help on firefox is completely foreign to me. the system crashes all the time., Settings do NOT work properly as I cannot deselect firefox as my default browser ever since it updated to 90. Now on 90.0.2, everything is a nightmare! I don't think anyone wants to spend 4-8+ hours trying to find out how to use the computer! So, if anyone can speak in plain English & not computer tech code which I do not understand, then help me please! As I look furhter down this page of questions, I have no idea how where to look & what I am supposed to be looking for. So, all I can say is I have a Windows 10 64-bit laptop with CCleaner free version, Malwarebytes free version, Smart defrag free version, Iobit uninstall without all the add-ons.

The computer or the browser? If the browser:

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?


Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?
