I imported a list of bookmarks from another computer. Now my bookmarks sidebar contains many duplicates. Is there an efficient way to identify and remove them?

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.

The System Details list shows you run an older Firefox 80.0 version that is no longer supported with security updates.

Could you please update to the current Firefox 89.0.2 release.

It's beyond funny that all of the answers do not work. I installed every bookmark add on & I have the latest FF. NONE even load bookmarks. I imported tons of bookmarks & all of them are just text ( no icons) unless I click on them one at time - great. Same with the add on there are none that detect let alone allow you to delete them. Bye Bye FF.

If you have imported bookmarks then you only get the links. The favicons are stored differently (in favicons.sqlite) and you need to visit a bookmark to make Firefox retrieve the favicon.
