How can I increase text size on bookmarks/toolbars/tabs?
I use a monitor that is at some distance from me, to avoid eyestrain because I have vision problems. This is fine for web pages, documents, etc. because I can vary the text size as needed. Since the new update, I can't read the text on my bookmarks, menu, toolbars, tabs, etc. I don't know if they've made the text smaller or if it's a result of the amount of space added around everything, but I could swear the text is much smaller. Either way, this is unusable for me. Is there a way I can increase the text size? If not, I'm going to have to find a way to reinstall the old version or switch to another browser.
Sorry if the answer to this question is obvious with a bit of searching, but you know... I can't see anything. It's very frustrating.

Could you try this:
Global Zoom Factor
The following setting governs both the content area and the "chrome" area (menus, toolbars, and tabs). If the content is too large after finding a comfortable size for the toolbar area, you can use a reduced default zoom level on the Options/Settings page.
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste devp and pause while the list is filtered
(3) The layout.css.devPixelsPerPx preference has a default value of -1.0 which indicates following the Windows system-level scaling (on a large monitor, typically 100%).
Double-click the preference and change its value to 1.5 -- no minus sign -- which is the equivalent of 150% scaling. You can adjust as needed. If something goes terribly wrong, there is a reset button at the right end of the row.
Note to any Mac users with Retina displays: start with 3.0 instead of 1.5.

I followed the steps 1, 2, 3 and by mistake included value 20 instead of 2.0. The tabs are extremely big now and I cannot restore the sizes or access the menu/bars. Is there any way to restore or reduce the size of the tabs/bookmarks in this situation - value 20? I tried to reinstall the app in my macbook but it didn't work. Thanks.

If you return to about:config using steps 1 and 2, then you can try this:
Double-click the preference name layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to open an editing field. Of course, you cannot see the editing field, so you need to type blind. Type 3 and then press the Enter key.

Hi Rodrigo, if you cannot use the address bar, then you could consider doing a Firefox Refresh: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings.
Hopefully Firefox's menu bar is still normal. Click Help > Troubleshoot Mode and Firefox should restart with the option to Refresh the browser.
Hi Rodrigo, the other way to get that Refresh option is to hold down the Option/Alt key when starting Firefox.
Note that you also can edit the prefs.js file in the profile folder and either remove the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx line or modifies its value.
Firefox uses two locations for the Firefox profile folder. One location for your personal data (e.g. bookmarks) and another location for temporary files like the disk cache, so make sure to look in the correct location.
Location used for the main profile that keeps your personal data (Root Directory on about:profiles).
- WIN: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>
- MAC: ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/<profile>
In Mac OS X v10.7 and later, the "~/Library" folder in the Home directory is a hidden folder.
