for over a week I have not been able to access my Centurylink.net email.. when I have logged in and click the email button, the page brought up has a different URL than usual and page is blank. my email will work fine with the MS Edge browser. I have two computers, one using windows 7 and the other windows 10 and neither computer with the firefox browser will work for my email. everything else works fine in firefox. when I called centurylink last Monday they claim the problem is not on their end. I've cleared the cache and that didn't help. One computer is using Malwarebytes, but not the other. frustrated!

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Fred, I noticed you replied to a similar post on April 7. (see link below) In that post the person posting indicated disabling the Add-on Duckduckgo and that resolved the issue with Centurylink email. I have been using Duckduckgo for years with no issue. Why would the firefox update to version 87 now create a problem? Would you anticipate that a future Firefox update might resolve this?

All insight appreciated.

Spencer
