url fully highlighted
Hi, I'm a web developer and I'm working on a local website..I'm using an .htaccess file to rewrite URLs and everything is fine..the problem is that when I use an htaccess, all my URL becomes white and there is no more gray part for sub directories..I wanted to know if there would be a way to fix this..Thanks in advance.

Hmm, Firefox should only "highlight" the host part of the URL. Maybe there is a bug when the host name doesn't have the appearance of a dotted domain name (like example.com)?
I hadn't noticed the problem right away because I force the http:// to appear on insecure addresses and that seems to make it work fine. You can see the difference if you do this:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box in the page, type or paste trim and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the browser.urlbar.trimURLs preference to switch the value from true to false
(But most people do not change that preference.)
I don't know whether anyone has filed a bug report for that. Do you think this was a recent change?
