My location
My location is Rockford, Ill. Until a few days ago, I had no problem with websites accessing my correct location. Now, I have some sites that show my location as Sacramento, Ca. !!! I'm planning some travel this summer(hopefully), so this can be a problem. I have tried clearing the cache and a few other suggestions, to no avail. Anyone have an idea what to do about this? Thanks, Mike P.

Hi Mike, websites generally guess your location using the IP address assigned by your service provider. Typically that is within 25-50 miles, so yours is a little bit off. Are you connecting through a VPN or similar service that might be changing your IP address to one registered in Sacramento?
