Privacy Badger is a content blocking extension. A common issue with these types of extensions is that can accidentally core parts of a website.

For example, if the website you are using has a video and the code for the video player is blocked because it has tracking information in it (which is common for videos), the video won't play.

To get around this, you would need to tweak your Privacy Badger settings to adjust how strict its content filtering rules are and/or whitelist websites that you have issues with.
