All versions of FF (older & newer) now auto-install from FF.exes or FF MSIs onto my OS drive (C) instead of my preferred Data drive (D), no install options are ever presented. Trouble began w/ ver FF70. Had FF synced to my Galaxy Tab earlier as well, but turned that whole sync account off and still am not presented with any installation directory choice. Thought ver FF69 might work but same problem persists. ....... Alienware Aurora R7 desktop Win10 Home, 1903

Regular updates shouldn't change the program folder, but some users reported that 64-bit Firefox 70 installed under

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\

rather than replacing 64-bit Firefox 69 in the 32-bit program path

C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\

so perhaps there is a new issue related to Firefox not being in that specific folder??

When using an installer, if you want the option to choose the path, you need the "full" or "offline" installer. More info: Custom installation of Firefox on Windows.

I've only ever installed 64bit FF to my PCs' data drive (D), not my OS drive (C). Why it now insists it be in my C drive is beyond me.

I've tried the 'full' and 'offline' installers, they install FF onto the C drive as quickly as the regular installers do. And I get no dialogue boxes during install. Just this lone useless box (below) which goes by very quick.

Maybe try the .exe installer. You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (70.0) in all languages and all operating systems here:
