When trying to run Firefox, I get an error message. Image included. Reinstalling for 64-bit does not work.

hi, is this happening in an enterprise environment where special security software/settings might be in place? https://forums.ivanti.com/s/article/Application-Manager-and-Lumension-4-4-installed-on-the-same-computer-may-cause-application-crashes

Hi PurringCat248,

Sorry to hear you're having issues with Firefox crashing. Do you have a Firefox desktop icon?

If the web browser is crashing at launch, you could try opening in Safe Mode on your desktop.

To do this :

  1. Hold SHIFT
  2. Double click the Firefox Icon on your desktop
  3. You should see another icon pop down below on your toolbar
  4. Click on the icon and choose either Refresh Firefox to restart Firefox to your default settings or Start in Safe Mode with no extensions enabled.

Do you have any security software running in the background?

Hope this helps.
