What's your computer system and Firefox version?

Step one: You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

Step two: Change ALL passwords on ALL accounts. At the same time, verify your e-mail on each site.

I have Windows 10 and haven’t had firefox browser on it for some time now. I gave remote access to a support tech that turned out to be someone asking me for a $100 google pay card. So I stopped what he was doing and reset my computer and deleted anything he downloaded on that date. Now from my iPhone that is synced I checked my google drive and these files are now in there: Control_authorize_cookie Prefs.js Scriptcache-current.bin Scriptcache-child-current.bin Sessioncheckpoints.jsoxulstore.json

Prefs.js is a file used by Firefox to store settings. I won't bother checking the others.

If you don't want them, remove them.

How did that 'tech' contact you?

Have you finished step 1 and 2 yet?

Yes I changed my passwords and ran anti malware. I called an online tech support number 800-644-5716. Can’t remember the site. After I gave him remote access for him to recover a old account for me he told me to go to Walmart and purchase a 100$ google card that he would need to recover my account and then he would reimburse the money back on card.... I thought that was odd so I shut my laptop down and when I checked my browser history it showed pay pal and amazon. So Microsoft told me he may still have access to my computer every time I turn it on? I turned remote access off but I think I may have to low-level format my pc? Because they told me there’s no telling what he downloaded on my pc. Also these files in my google drive from fire fox? I don’t have fire fox on my computer anymore so it seems like he may be accessing my cookies for some reason? What do you think?

Curious on why you contacted us as you don't have Firefox.

I’m contacting you because all these files are from my fire fox account that isn’t on my computer but someone has accessed and I want to know what to do about all my fire fox cache and cookies being downloaded?

As I said, just delete those files.
