How do I use my Firefox account on both my Windows 10 desktop and ASUSOR NAS without SYNC?

more options

I can access all the Firefox "services" on my desktop but when I open Firefox in the NAS it keeps asking for my email and password. When I enter the password I established on the desktop it says "Incorrect Password" and turns the box red. Then a few seconds later the Firefox browser page opens but when I try to open a web page with a video the audio doesn't play.

Firstly, you can't connect the same Firefox Account to multiple computers without syncing them together.

That said, you don't have to attach your Firefox Account to your NAS at all if you don't want to. Adding the Firefox Account is a totally optional step and will have no impact on the functionality of your browser and the features that you can use (other than Firefox Sync, of course).

It sounds to me like the issue that you are having with the video and audio playback is unrelated to your Firefox Account. It sounds to me like it's simply due to the recently added autoplay blocking feature.

Hope this helps.

So I should add a new separate account for the NAS? Is that possible since it doesn't have an email account unique to it? So far. It does have the capability to act as an email server. I just need to set up a domain.

You could create a separate Firefox Account for that device, but it's unnecessary unless you play on syncing it to some other device, which it doesn't sound like you want to do.
