You used to be able to add a new folder by picking "new folder" and then add the name of the folder. Now when I want a new folder, that choice is not there. When I want to move a new folder, all I had to do was hit move to and a menu would appear of previous folders. And you had a chance to save a new folder if that was your wish, or scroll down and find a folder is already there. Now I do not have that choice to start a new folder.

Are you talking about the Bookmarks Manager? Are you using any bookmark add-ons/programs?

[v57+] Places Maintenance is built into Firefox.

Type about:support<enter> in the address bar.

You will find Places Database near the bottom. Press the Verify Integrity button.

When done, copy and post the results here.

You can do a Copy/Cut and Paste in the right-click context menu to move a bookmark. If you have a bookmarked page open in a tab then click the highlighted star to edit this bookmark.

The "Edit This Bookmark" dialog that opens if you click the highlighted star has a checkbox with "Show editor when saving" (shortcut key in the dialog is Alt+S). This item is at the bottom just above "Remove Bookmark" and "Done".

Ubuntu 18.04 12-18-19

How to create a new Documents Folder  ? I tried your last response but it does not work:

1. In the search box, type as home and click on the folder

2. In the home folder, right click on the window and select New Folder

New folder will be created as "Untitled Folder" under the home directory

The Above was "Community Support" response.
