Hi...the recent versions of FF 63.xx have "underlined star" icon, which replaced the dual icons of earlier versions. The star of previous version was equal to Ctrl-D...bookmark this page. VERY convenient. This is no longer available. Or I can't figure out how to restore. Will you folks developing this product quit messing around with the user interface? You're loosing long time users like me. Please think twice.

Hi,

The bookmark star was moved to the right side of the address bar starting in v57, it should look like the attached image. If you don't see it, can you please try the following?

  • Click on the icon with three dots in the right side of the address bar.
  • Look for a "bookmark this page" option.
  • Right-click on it, and choose "add to address bar".

Hope that helps!

Would like to add...this problem I'm reporting is on Win7 box, running FF v. 63.0.3 64-bit. This post was made from WinXP box.

Thanks much. It's in front of my nose and did not see it. I've looked at all the documentation on-line, but it seems to be several versions behind. Kept finding the star in the "old place"
