Recovering passwords
My computer is kaput. Does Firefox store my saved passwords and favorites online somewhere so that I can recoved from off of the old drive? I am running Windows 10, 64 bit if that helps. Sorry, I'm such a NEWBIE! Thanks for your help. bernie

Unless you using sync, there will be no 'online' copy.
If the hard drive is not damaged, its data can be recovered. One way is to mount the old drive as an external drive.

Thanks so much! My old computer will not turn on and I am not sure whether or not I had the sync turned on. Is there a way I can check without having to turn on the old one? Thanks.

Not unless you know what files are on the old drive. Does the old computer have a problem?
You can talk to a tech about making the old hard drive into an external drive for the new system.
