After confirming new password and identity link, Firefox STILL says I am using an incorrect password
This is not really a question. I merely want to express my dissatisfaction with the removal of the "Description Box/Column" in the context menu under Properties for Firefox. I have been using Firefox exclusively since the "Windows 98 Days" because of THIS specific "back door" property. I have been a loyal, diehard user because no other prominent browser had this capability. Well, now there is no reason to remain a Firefox user. That's it.

HI, since you do not need a Password to use Firefox please explain :
"Description Box/Column" in the context menu under Properties for Firefox
No idea where you are going, where you got this, what you want. If that's it, we never got your point.
Hi Mozilla support.
Mozilla's Firefox DOES require a password to "sync" information when not at your own devices. Soooo, after confirming such password, I still cannot sync my information.
Now, my main reason for trying to sync my information was to see if my "notes" could be accessed. Firefox's former versions had a context menu choice in "Properties" called "Description", a box or column which was useful when adding notes on a webpage and more importantly password hints. This ability is no longer possible since the new version of Firefox has eliminated this capability that incidentally, no other major browser had; therefore after so many years as a faithful Firefox user (since Windows 98 Second Edition Days), it is no longer as useful.
How can I change back to an earlier version to get back my data!!!>??
Thank you, D Cugini
Hi, If you want your Notes they are still there for the time being, just invisible. Yes they are there.
You will be able to drag and drop them into any open page in a Web Browser to view (not pretty).
Please export your Bookmarks to HTML which should be doing anyway :
from version 62 Help --> About --> What's New Removed the description field for bookmarks. Users who have stored descriptions using the field may wish to export these descriptions as HTML or json files, as they will be removed in a future release.
Please see : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1232448
Replacements : Do not know what will become of this yet but it does work : https://testpilot.firefox.com/experiments/notes and this one already : https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/bookmark-notes/
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
