I consistantly get pop under websites that look fishy almost every time I open Firefox. How can I get rid of them?
When I open up Firefox, websites appear as another tab that are from websites that are, to me, extremely fishy and this has been a consistent problem for me these last couple of months with Firefox.
Is there anyway to prevent these pop under tabs from appearing?

Hi, for blocking I suggest these 2 but not need to let Ghostery Guide you to move the coloured levels up to allow stuff as it can break pages especially video as block 3rd party cookies. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/ https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ghostery/ Security : https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/malwarebytes/ Note above blocks 3rd party cookies but controls are close and hit reload.
Ok, this is the important part you probably have some malware calling those things. So please run Malwarebytes from this list and a few more.
Save your Report and google each before deleting anything as do not want to delete something you need, If need help :
Uninstall any Bittorrent apps, uninstall cracked programs and delete cracks then Post in only 1 forum, then wait.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Just in case Malwarebytes doesn't catch them, please also check your add-ons. You can view, disable, and often remove unwanted or unknown extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
- type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return
In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions.
Then cast a critical eye over the list on the right side. Any extensions Firefox installs for built-in features are hidden from this page, so everything listed here is your choice (and your responsibility) to manage. Anything suspicious or that you just do not remember installing or why? If in doubt, disable (or remove).
