I have a web site with an audio player for song tracks: see here for an example page- http://www.johnsongs.com/page141.html The audio player graphic is jumbled but displays fine in Google or IE. Adobe Flash player is installed. I don't know what to change/opt for in order to make Firefox also display the player graphic correctly. Thanks!

Hi, you can try these : VIDEO AUDIO

Note the notes on the site : The video was put together in Serif’s MoviePlus X6 (now amazingly discontinued, even though it’s far superior to a lot of its competition), using clips from the Internet.

This player maybe is unsupported.

Please use this : https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html to uninstall 2 versions of Flash you have installed. Flash 28.0 r0 & Flash 29.0 r0 This maybe the issue since IE/Edge use another Flash downloaded from Windows Updates Only.

Flash Player Version: 29.0.0.140 Current Version https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Hi, many thanks. The video plays fine. The glitch is with the audio player widget - on my web page link given above it's between the word 'Notes' and the YouTube button logo. Actually, it appears correctly on Firefox on my laptop but not on my desktop (both are on the same W10 and Firefox version). Should an uninstall/reinstall of Adobe Flash Player enable this audio player widget to look correct? I appreciate your help!

Hi, The supplied URL's from previous post are for sound also. The Flash reinstall is because you have 2 versions installed which you should not have and can cause issues as well the older has 100 or so security issues and using Adobe Uninstaller will take it all out in leaving nothing behind. So please fix your Flash issue and that maybe will solve your problem.

I notice that your Video card drivers for your ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series driverDate: 1-13-2015 is a little old. https://support.amd.com/en-us/download But besides that I suspect that Windows 10 has changed your drivers and I would expect if it changed your drivers for video it changed your sound card drivers as well ( it did to me). this may be the issue, or not. Video Card also puts sound drivers in so I do not know what you use or setup to use, maybe Realtec.

You can use Search with keyword Sound and Click Change Sound Card Settings.

But since am going there : https://www.howtogeek.com/302595/how-to-stop-windows-10-from-automatically-updating-hardware-drivers/ Please search for Device Manager and check to see if your Video card now shows as having MS Drivers as well as your Sound Card. Can check others if know where to get the drivers and motherboard drivers are still available.

just some fyi: Suggest you make this what you want people to see and how to find you : <meta name="description" content="I Let You Down Again"> Key words are not used on all big search engines. Title and content are. Html is not bad : https://validator.w3.org/nu/?doc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.johnsongs.com%2Fpage141.html CSS https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.johnsongs.com%2Fpage141.html&profile=css3svg&usermedium=all&warning=1&vextwarning=&lang=en you have Mozilla issues. Suggest you start redoing your site as HTML5 audio is the current standard while you are using Flash which will be out of Firefox in 2020. No idea on other browser time tables.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Thanks. I uninstalled Adobe Flash Player by running the file from the uninstall link you gave me. That ran ok, but all the other 'delete these files' instructions failed because almost all the files wouldn't let me delete them, even though I have Administrator privileges. Also, the files wouldn't allow me to change their properties to allow me to delete them. For good measure I also ran Control Panel/Uninstall. It seemed to do the trick (notwithstanding the un-deleted files) as when I re-opened Firefox the audio widget wouldn't show at all.

I downloaded the latest version of Adobe Flash and installed it. Unfortunately, that put me back to square one - with the 'glitchy graphics' icon for the audio player.

It can't be a video card problem because the icon displays correctly in Google Chrome and IE.

I'm stumped.....

Hi, I would still check in Device Manager to see if MS is replacing your drivers.

Please boot Win 10 into Safe Mode , No Networking https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode Right Click the Adobe Flash Uninstaller and Run as Administrator.

See if that does the trick.
