I just tried to find some information about Add-On and after all these years, they claim I don't have an account with them. What's going on here! And when I try to follow their request to create an account, they don't recognize my e-mail address. What's going on there? Where is the problem?

Since I have closed and reopened Mozilla, the web page does what it's suppose to. All the questions are gone, and now it shows immediately that I am Logged in properly. Thank you for your help. Now it's time for me to get to bed and get some sleep.

Hi,

Would you please see if you can find the answer here :

The problem is my Password not being recognized by 'Addons'! Why, all of a sudden, is my password not being recognized! And another thing that I don't like is you people trying to do me favors, by switching my communications with you from English to German. I am an American and I want all Mozilla programs and communications sent to me in the English language, please!

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

I don't know - I gave you a link to that article, hoping you'd decide to upgrade from an add-ons account to a Firefox account, as shown in the article I gave you a link to.

I'm sorry, the only favor we're trying to do is : we're trying to help you solve your problem. This seems to be another problem : Who is sending you programs and comminications in German  ?

I don't know who it is that's changing my connection on the Internet to ".de" but it's happening, and I want it to stop. I use yahoo.com for my Internet connections and as of late when I try to connect to a Company in the US, for some reason my connection is changed to yahoo.de which is not what I'm after. This almost always happens when I want to connect to Lenovo.com. And now this has started happening when I want to connect to Mozilla. Second: I have a Mozilla messaging account I thought I had a Mozilla addons account, but my password is no longer recognized by this Mozilla page I have a Thunderbird account And I have a Support account

And the reason for wanting to connect to the Internet 'Addons' is because my FireFox Ver. 58.0.2 'Addons' list doesn't seem to include the HTML 5 as an 'Addon'. Fox NEWS says that some of the video clips I can't view are because I don't have an HTML 5 converter 'Addon' installed in my PC Also using FOX NEWS, when I click on certain windows, the screen goes black immediately and than short time later the window has a list of ISPs scattered across the screen and underneath it asks me who my Internet provider is, but none of which is mine. My ISP is T-Online.de I assumed that this problem with the screen going black was caused by the HTML 5 Driver not being installed on my PC.

I just tried to log in and was not able to do it. None of my passwords work. I am not allowed into my account. That also means I'm not able to read: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/users/login from Happy 112!

The last time the developer updated his add-on was 5 years ago - and he never migrated it to Webextensions :

I have finally gotten through the hoops, and am forced to update all my data that is at Mozilla, and now I'm being asked for a URL. What URL? This request does not seem to be connected with the Web Page, it stays at one place on my screen no matter what I do with the Mozilla webpage. So I don't understand what it is that I am to come up with. Can somebody out there give me a clue?

Going to answer your question with a question :

Can you possibly provide a screenshot of this page  ?

If you need help to create a screenshot, please see : How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Browse... button below the Post your reply box.

But the question still remains about a HTML 5 driver, and if it's installed on my PC!

Hi, What video plugins do you have installed? That link that FredMcD shared has a troubleshooting step that asked to update webgl drivers.

My question about the plugins are to see if a video player needs to be installed on your computer in order for that to work. I don't know if this is true anymore. Now AV1 seems to be the initiative to keep all video encoding open. Can you share the name of any video plugins that are installed on your Firefox profile?

I take it you are located in Germany. You may likely have a Windows 7 N edition.

https://support.microsoft.com/help/11529/what-is-a-windows-7-n-edition

Windows editions (of Vista and newer) in say USA and Canada comes with media-related technologies needed to decode and play videos and music properly such as HTML5 player in browsers like Firefox and SeaMonkey. So you need to install the appropriate Media Feature Pack.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-video-audio-problems-firefox-windows

You can use https://www.youtube.com/html5/ to see what your system supports before and after installing the pack as all check marks should be blue. Another site to test videos is at https://www.quirksmode.org/html5/tests/video.html

There is no Mozilla messaging as you could be thinking of or translating something else. There was this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_Messaging but refers more to Thinderbird now and been defunct since 2011.

Thunderbird is a email client to manage your email accounts as there is no Thunderbird account.

You account on support.mozilla.org is only used for this site. This site only really got started in early stages back in oh 2007 or maybe late 2006, I forget.

The addons.mozilla.org site started say in 2005 (as per wayback archive) and the word Add-ons did not really get used much until Firefox 2.0 which was released March 2006. People were referring to Extensions, Themes, Plugins etc separately back then and not lumped as Addons.

The web browser we know as Firefox only started as Phoenix 0.1 back in Sept 2002. The Mozilla Application Suite only started in 1998 after Netscape released most of the code base for its popular Netscape Communicator suite under an open source license. So nothing really close to 30+ years.
