My history and bookmarks disappeared after the most recent Quantum upgrade. I was able to restore the Bookmarks through a backup, but the history, which I rely upon a lot for work, has been impossible to restore.

Renaming the places.sqlite.corrupt file (as described in this question: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1187781) doesn't work, and going back to an older version of the places.sqlite file from my Time Machine backup that should contain the history (it's more than 10x larger than the new file) just results in another places.sqlite.corrupt file.

I really need that history, even is it's just a text file of the sites.
