If you do a search on my site the Google results will come up but not the actual search results from my website. I think this only started with the new Firefox. https://www.onlinecomputertips.com/

When run your site through the W3C Html checker get a no handshake error https://validator.w3.org/nu/?doc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.onlinecomputertips.com%2F And the same with CSS https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.onlinecomputertips.com%2F&profile=css3&usermedium=all&warning=1&vextwarning=&lang=en Even though I can bring the site up. Please see search for : I/O Error: handshake alert: unrecognized_name https://www.google.ca/search?q=I%2FO+Error%3A+handshake+alert%3A+unrecognized_name&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=GvMlWsfyMY6C-gSC546QAw I would think this is the reason of Search error. You should go to your Google Webmaster Tools Account and submit the site and see if Google themselves gives any errors for you there. Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Did you clean up these Errors ?

So you are saying to shorten the metatag data?

For what it's worth, I see the problem both in Firefox 57 and Firefox 52 ESR.

I can see this in Firefox 45 as well.

  • TypeError: google.search.Search.apiary4672 is not a function

Typing google.search.Search in the Web Console only shows function google.search.A() and doesn't give any clues about what is wrong.

I notice that if I search for Firefox or Microsoft then I'm not getting results. If I click the Next button (404 Error) and then use the Back button to return then suddenly the results are rendered.

Note that the response is different

google.search.Search.apiary10050 (when the error occurred)
google.search.Search.apiary6315 (after using back)

That actually works for me and then you can click search again and its blank. The only problem is that visitors wont know to do that plus its not really a fix but does make things more interesting!

Using the Next and Back button seems to be working more reliably like I wrote above. I still don't know what is wrong here. Is this a racing issue with the cache where the script tries to run before the content arrives or is the script running more than once or is something else wrong. I don't know what code processes this JSON response from v1element.
