I am so frustrated. I just built a new PC running Windows 10 pro 64 bit. I installed Firefox as I do on all my PCs. However, it used to be easy to copy all my bookmarks and my passwords from one PC to another. Now, I have spent 4 hours plus on trying to get the passwords to copy from one of my PCs to my new one. Absolutely no success, but plenty of frustration. After losing my ability to multi-row my bookmark toolbar, I was unhappy but this makes me sick. I have well over 500 passwords to different websites and now I can't copy them from one PC to another. I have tried your technique of old, but it fails every time. It would be nice if someone there actually thought about the users and the ease of doing things within your program. If you check, I am a supporter. I have financially supported your program and would again. Please write something that is CLEAR, CONCISE and EASY to understand that tells your users how to export paswords, bookmarks, etc from one PC to another. All of my PCs updated to your new browser "Firefox Legacy" and now many of my add-ons don't work. Thank you so very much! I added those programs to make things easier to use, however in someone's wisdom, they thought people didn't need them anymore since we were getting LEGACY. I am frustrated, very frustrated and I normally don't bother writing to programming companies because in general, they don't care. I am hoping that Mozilla does, although right now, it appears they changed so much and users suffer. Pale Moon is what you used to be, friendly, easy to use and you can put whatever add-on you wish. However I can't change to Pale Moon because I can't get my passwords out of your newly created mess. Thank you. Ken Bell

Make sure that you are looking in the correct location on both computers.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

For the passwords you need to copy logins.json and key3.db. For the bookmarks you can either use places.sqlite or restore a compressed .jsonlz4 JSON backup from the bookmarkbackups folder.

Actually this did solve my problem. The issue I had was that I was actually going to the profile myself. I was doing c:/users/userID/appdata/LOCAL/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/profile.default/etc..... when it should have been c:/users/userID/appdata/ROAMING/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/profile.default/etc..... and presto it works great. My apologies for my rant, although I still miss my multi-row bookarks toolbar. Hopefully my step by step will assist someone.
