Sadly I have the problem right now, that I can't open links outside from Firefox anymore. For example, when someone sends me a link in TeamSpeak, Skype, Steam, and so on, I can't just click the link, nothing will happen there, but instead I have to copy and paste it manually into the browser to open the website. Didn't found any solution for this. It would be great, if someone could help me.

Is this only using e-mails, or web pages also?

E-mails sent as plain text do no flag links as links. It's just plain text. Tell the other to send links using the not plain text setting. Sometimes called HTML.

Also, before sending the message, make sure the link is flagged as a link. Sometimes, one must go to the end of the link and press Enter.

Nope, it's clearly a hyperlink and not just text. Like I said, any link in any other programm I want to open, I have to copy manually. For example even when I click pictures in Steam, which count as links, it doesn't open.
