I'm tired of not getting to the sites I want to get to

more options

I'm trying to get to https://mail.gmail.com

And your program is completely blocking me. I can't even and go add an exception for the server because it says it can't find the certificate. I don't care if you can't find the certificate. I guess I'll IE or chrome for this. Unfortunate, Firefox used to be my favorite.

Personally, I much prefer how IE says, I can't validate the certificate, continue (not recommended) or leave the site. Your program only blocks and doesn't give an option to proceed. even with Fiddler installed I can't identify what site it's tryig to get the certificate from. So, your dialog is useless to me.

Also, other secure websites are giving me problems your program.

Hi, have a look at - "This Connection is Untrusted" error message appears - What to do.

Also, I see you have the SiteAdvisor plugin. It's possible that is causing the problem, so you could try disabling it (Ctrl+Shift+A) > Plugins.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

Have you added exceptions for other sites? If so, let's investigate why you're having to do that, since it's definitely not normal.

You can view you exceptions from the Options page:

"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced

Click the Certificates mini-tab, then the "View Certificates" button. In the Certificate Manager dialog, select the Servers tab. Here you can look at sites for which you have saved an exception, then inspect the certificate. In particular, look at the Issued by section of the dialog to see whether there is a pattern of issuers that could point to the source of the issue. Screen shot attached as an example.

In some cases it could be your security software (e.g., Avast, AVG, BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky), but in other cases it could point to malware.
