i am not able to play videos from any source. i have upgraded firefox. updated all of my plug-ins and add-ons. removed and replaced quicktime and windows media players. i am able to play videos on internet explorer, but not on firefox. i have been a firefox user for many years, but this suddenly happened today. in addition, when i open my own website on firefox, the background color is missing, as well as the boxes that frame the drop down menus. these do appear when i open my website on explorer.

i have tried everything i can possibly think of, as well as anything i could read in support.

the "rotating wheel" that shows when something is loading in windows vibrates erratically when a video is trying to load.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
