This problem started last day. When I in my Facebook page, the blue color wheel always rotates. It is like some process is going on my Facebook page or in my PC. I checked my process list in my PC but I didn't find anything suspicious. It doesn't happen in chrome. And the matter is, this problem is only showing up in FB.

Please help me what can I do. I am using bitdefender as my antivirus and I have my firewall off. Also windows update is turned off.

Hi

Thank you for your question. I was talking to someone about this issue yesterday and I can confirm that you are not the only person having the problem.

Whilst I do not fully understand what is causing the issue, work is underway to fix it with Mozilla having escalated this with contacts at Facebook. Although I do not know how long this will take to fix, the popularity of both Firefox and Facebook should mean that it is taken seriously and looked into as soon as possible by both sides.

You may wish to track what is going on by following this bug report.

I have no reason to believe that this issue is due to a virus or other malware and would always recommend that you turn on your firewall and Windows updates to make sure that you are protected against threats.

Whilst this may not have answered your query, I hope that I helped explain what is going on and have put your mind at rest that a fix is being worked on. If you have any further queries, please ask and we will do our best to help.
