Lost bookmarks after reformatting my SSD. How do I get the profile/bookmarks back?

All of the bookmarks are gone after I reformatted the SSD that contained my profile folder. Do you save them on your end as well as locally (on my computer)? It just happened today, if that helps at all. I could provide some info about the profile if that would make any difference. Thanks!

Mozilla doesn't have a copy of your browser data unless you subscribe to the Sync service. In that case, you should be able to use your Sync credentials to connect your newly installed Firefox to your account. I'm not a Sync expert, so that's about all I can tell you about Sync.

If you never set up Sync, then whether you can still recover data depends on what kind of format you did. In some cases, Windows creates a C:\Windows.old folder with your old data. In other cases, utilities like Piriform Recuva may be able to reconstruct some files. But then there are times when it is hopeless...
