Cant download files, blocked

more options

Since I updated my pc yesterday I cant download some files. This is:

https://imageshack.com/i/p16bTk9zp

Blocked: can contain a virus or spyware

I know that this file in particular will contain advertising but I want to download it anyway. How can I do it?

Thanks

Thanks WarNikolai :) Actually that site is reported and blocked by the Google and if you really wants to give a try and want to download that file from that site with Firefox. Go to setting → Preferences → Security → checkboxes and un-check the boxes that says "Block reported attack sites" and "Block reported web forgeries" and the file will be downloaded! Although I personally don't recommend this! :)

Hi! WarNikolai, Is this specific to a file or more than one files are block? If this is specific to the file then, can you paste the link here so that we can see?

Hi, The file is this: http://www.emptyloop.com/unlocker/#download

Its an utility that I have been using for years and never had a problem downloading it. I know that the installed contains some advertising but it can be skiped.

Happens the same with jdownloader though the advertising on this cant be skipped.

Note: I tried downloading unlocker from another site using firefox and worked

Which one you are downloading and that failed? BTW if you have downloaded the file from other site using Firefox so there may be problem with site not the Firefox but we have to be sure so if you could give me more detail about which file on this site http://www.emptyloop.com/unlocker/#download you was downloading then it will good for us! :)

The first one: Unlocker 1.9.2 - 32 and 64 bit version

I think the problem was firefox because was it the one who blocked the file.

I got scared because after formatting and installing firefox 32 i downloaded 5 files and 2 of it were blocked, then I thought that I had a serious problem but it just was with these two.

For me the problem is solved. Many thanks.
