Firefox resets its preferences and theme to default almost every time when I close and reopen it; this always happens after I go to google.com. I have uninstalled Firefox and deleted the AppData/Roaming folder numerous times and I don't know what it could be.

There is software like Advanced SystemCare with its Surfing Protection feature that can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
