I downloaded firefox 30. I installed it and i keep getting this error "COULD NOT FIND MOZILLA RUNTIME". I am using windows xp. I do the uninstall from the program manager. i have run my virus check. I have run my clean registery. Then i installed it. Firefox is running from the install but if i close it and click the icon i keep getting the above message. Help!! Thank You.

<strike>The fix for this is strange. You need to go to the desk top Icon select properties. The select the compatibility tab and check the run in this compatibility mode and then in the drop down select windows 98 / windows ME.</strike>


Note from Moderator. It isn't recommended to run Firefox in compatibility mode as it can have serious repercussion in future Firefox (36+) versions.

Uninstall your firefox 30 and make sure firefox program folder totally deleted, but don't remove your personal data. And then try to clean your registry again and do reinstall your firefox 30
