Many users ask for solution to disable your great invention : annoying mute buttons (speaker). And creators of FF strongly make it imposible to turn it off? Why? Is ther a "must" to suffer this? There will be some of reward for pain you give with this "feature"?

HP INTEL LAPtop: Windows 11 Fails two sequential video mp4 links using basic html Video code

Works in iphone firefox,safari,opera,PC Edge but NOT PC firefox.

1st link good 2nd fails ERROR MSG no video with supported format and mime type found. Also had same problem in Windows 10 last year. This on an HTML 4.01 we site.

i already tried to delete the cookies and cache, but 1 user is still muted for no reason and everyone/everything else works fine, so is there something wrong with the browser ?

i basically got like 2-3 completely different users muted for no reason, but at the moment i can only remember 1 of them and noone else has been added to the bug list ever since... and it basically happened when the Firefox itself got really low on memory again and started to display that red crash button. and even then, many different users crashed, but some did not even get the sound back anymore, while others did with no issue....

ps. i also found the other streamer now and both of them i was following, so that is also really weird, plus i havent noticed anyone else getting muted again, so maybe its just the ones that i followed ??? (and during the red crash button then)

Quality switches to 360 when tab inactive firefox. I watch Twitch in 1080p. When I switch to another tab and then return, the quality drops to 360p and then automatically goes back to 1080p.

for any website playing a video, if i skip ahead or go back, the audio breaks. Its not a smooth transition like chrome. It is like it suddenly cuts off the audio and then begins at the skipped ahead point.

Anyone else having issues with facebook reels/videos not loading?

In my feed, most of them just show a black frame and if I click on them, the screen goes black also.

why is the icon even there or why does it have to disappear and then also change the tab size ?

1) if its there to enable you to play a tab in the background, then i want the option to switch the feature on or off (because i do not want to play anything in the background, atleast not via a 24/7 target practice with a mouse)

2) if its there to give you notice that there is a 'multimedia' tab open in your browser, then i want the icon to stay there and not dissapear plus change tab size...

like what is this even ? are we back in the 50s ?

When I open Facebook in Firefox 150.0.1 with no extensions then move the cursor over a video, that video automatically plays.

Preferences | Privacy and Security | Browser Privacy | Permissions | Autoplay | Default is set to Block Audio and Video yet videos still automatically play.

Videos in YouTube play at about 50% brightness in full screen and not full screen, unless hardware acceleration is turned off, my mouse is hovering over an auto play thumbnail, or when the video is not in full screen and I open the right click context menu on the video.

I have an AW3225QF HDR monitor and an RTX 5070ti

Be specific when describing your issue. Our volunteers are Mozilla users just like you, giving their own time to help. Instead of saying “something is broken,” try to explain exactly what’s happening. For example, saying “YouTube videos are always choppy” makes it much easier for us to understand and help you quickly.

Facing these issues on video/educational platforms other than YouTube. I am not facing either of these issues on other browsers like Microsoft Edge, on the same network. Please let me peacefully watch my educational videos, else I'll have to switch to other browsers and encourage others to do the same. I have a lot of respect for your open-source community-based browser, but such errors are causing intolerable pain. PLEASE RESOLVE ASAP.

Since a few days ago, Firefox has been struggling with the likes of youtube, twitch and other streaming videos where the the videos will constantly freeze up, forcing me to use a different browser in order to watch videos.

Nothing has changed (ie I have not added any new extensions), and have also done a flat re-install of Firefox to no avail (as well as trying firefox without the Mozilla VPN on to see if that did anything).

I've tried messing with hardware acceleration, resetting the zoom to 100, it seems when i get the zoom as low as possible it tries to fall back into place, i can't find any fix on this, i like this browser but i cant watch anything like this
