Hello there. I had to recently wipe my computer on 4/12/2025. I forgot to sync my bookmarks and passwords. Is there any way I can possibly get these back? I don't know how far back Mozilla itself keeps files, I've been told they do but I'm not sure how far back.

I run Linux Debian 12 (bookworm), and there seems to be no way to disable Firefox from automatically starting up after system boot. I've searched through settings, read countless articles on the internet, looked at system auto-startup applications, but wasn't able to find anything that worked. I even looked in about:config, but couldn't find anything. Firefox isn't automatically started by my system and there is no parameter that disables it. I also didn't click through any choices about autostart when I first opened Firefox.

I’m currently testing a simple HTML-based site hosted on epizy.com, where I provide information and visuals related to a game mod (NullsBrawll). While everything works fine in Chrome and Edge, Firefox often fails to load key assets — especially images and script files that showcase the game’s content or guide users through the APK installation process.

Some problems I’m running into:

Game-related images (e.g., character banners, gameplay screenshots) fail to load intermittently JS-based animations or carousel sliders showing features don’t always run This issue happens more often on mobile Firefox Other browsers show the same files fine, even on slower networks

I’m wondering if:

Firefox handles free-hosted static files differently than other browsers? There are known issues with HTTP resources from epizy.com on Firefox? Any specific headers, caching rules, or SSL setup I should be aware of?

Firefox updated last night/this morning. Bookmarks all gone. I find the backup data. My profiles don't have any data for some reason. I manage bookmarks, go to choose a file to restore and nothing happens. None of the other options work either. I tried to add info about my system/version here but it reset this request and said it couldn't find any troubleshooting data. Probably because I have none. Please help. Why won't it let me do anything.

I had an old computer crash - The hard drive is still good bought a new windows machine. How do I get all my book marks and setup from old computer and install on new windows 11.. Under Program files (x86) I found mozilla Firefox and program files. The data in Program files is from today so that should be updated.

How do I get all of the passwords and book marks out of this and reinstall into new firefox

Hi, I just switched laptop< I no longer have my old one. I thought I'd just have log in to Firefox to recover all my information, like bookmarks and saved passwords, but now that I'm logged in, I can't find any of that. Is it possible I didn't save it? Can you help me recover it?

After last Firefox update i have an issue on 3 different PC with eBay. When I press bit for an item, usually must popup window where i need to place my bit. All is working fine until some update that broke this functionality, my firefox is update to the last 137 version. All blocker are stop for this website. But the popup windows for biding just blink and hide somewhere may be on background, because all buttons on the page is not active and i need to refresh it to make it active again. I try wit other browser like Edge and functionality working fine. I like firefox, but it's not useful for me using different browsers for deferent sites and if this issue not solve soon I need to migrate to other browser. I hope this won't happen and I will happily continue using firefox.

Hello, my computer crashed and needed a fresh install. I installed Firefox on a fresh drive, rest the password as I couldn't remember it on the first try (I now know what is but it's already reset) and it shows me 0 bookmarks, 0 saved passwords, 0 data and keeps reminding me to "finish setup" by importing bookmarks from another browser but my bookmarks were on Firefox.. After password change I was kicked out of my FF account on my phone so all the data is still intact on my phone. I haven't logged in my phone yet. How should I proceed to restore them on my pc and sync the to bookmarks from my phone and not the other way around?

Недавно переустанавливая в очередной раз Windows столкнулся с проблемой синхронизации моих данных в вашем браузере. Пароли, закладки, журнал и тд не синхронизировалось, а при открытии того самого старого профиля через about:profiles, тоже ничего.

Я был очень опечален данным результатом, так как там хранилось много нужной мне информации. К тому же, удалением профилей или чем-то таким я не занимался. Прошу помочь мне и отправить ответ на почту.

i reinstalled windows and re downloaded firfox i logged into my firfox account like a normaly doo to get all my data but non of my data is getting synced it always works but it is not working no i need my data i have my passwords to all my account on it pls help

Hi. I used braindead the backup function in the bookmark tab (see picture) After that all my bookmarks are gone. I thought its not a problem since im always sinced with firefox, but guess firefox already sinced my empty bookmarklist or i just dont know how to get the old one. I made a fresh windows install a few hours ago, so i guess i dont have a local backup on my pc. Kinda funny that Firefox does a backup right after a new install, but not when importing a bookmarklist.

Is there a way to get an old backup out of my mozilla account, or are 10+ years of saving bookmarks just gone?

In trying to update to a new version of Linux I inadvertently lost my passwords on Firefox. I have them on my Andoid 'phone but how can I get them back on my desktop? Thank you Thomas
