To sign into my Amazon account, I'd like to enter only my email address and my password.

But I have to enter my email address and my passkey. A verification code is then sent to my email address. I then need to enter that verification code to complete signing into Amazon.

On the Amazon's Sign in page (where I enter my passkey), it says "This request comes from the app 'firefox.exe' by "Mozilla Corporation".

How do I disable the two-factor (aka two-step) authentication for Amazon in Firefox?

Why on earth would you remove the ability to select move multiple tabs anywhere in an open window browser???? Until recently, I could select the first and last tab, hold shift and move them anywhere I chose. Now that feature doesn't work at all. It duplicates one tab or I'm given a choice to move to the front or last of all open tabs! Please give me the feature back!!1

Firefox keeps crashing my computer while playing graphics-intensive games, yet with Firefox off they function perfectly. This seems to be still an issue since 2015. It'll be a shame to switch browsers since i been using this since it was called Netscape 2

When following the instruction to sync bookmarks on Android phone it leads me to items that are not there. Open Firefox mobile on phone. Ok. Hit the 3 dots drop down. Ok. Choose sync and save. Not there? I click my email and it shows sync. I click that and it shows the last time I sync my phone. 0 minutes. Ok. It shows a QR code to scan from the Firefox app. It instructs to click ready to scan. That's not there either. If instructions lead you down paths that are not present, the instructions are useless. Anyone else having this experience? Thanks..........

so in the top right there is "Finish setup", i have marked all things, beside "Import previous browser"... the problem is.... what previous browser?... it is a fresh installed system, i have no file to import, and for whatever reason i can not skip it, which doesn't make sense... cuz firefox works without those imports... so why do i get forced to import them... i do not have anything... the annyoing part it... when i click on it, firefox says something "couldn't find files"... which sould be a deead giveaway that i don't have any, it it just should move one... i tired to disable it in about:config, i tried to edit ~/.mozilla, did not work... i just have that super annyoing text at the top, where i have zero change of removing.... why don't you just add a "skip button"... is taht to much to ask?

I did my monthly Norton 360 system scans and updates last night, and maybe it is coincidence, but all of my Firefox bookmarks are now missing, and there is no browsing History showing. I have tried the import/restore steps but each date I try to restore from I get an error message - "Unable to process the backup file".

Hello, I'm a few weeks late signing back into my Mozilla account after deletion email called for the last day as June 10th. Considering I travel alot for work, I didn't sign back in until now. My old Firefox on my desk top has a home icon to go back to the home page. This new Firefox on my laptop doesn't seem to have one? What am I missing? How do I get back to the home page?

this is the latest crash report. had 19 crashes in about 1 hour. i have noticed when i put stress on my pc IE playing a game the crashes are less. i have 64g ram i9 14900k cpu. disabled all extenstions have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox but nothing im doing seems to help.

any help would be great.

I own a website that has chat rooms for each of my advisors. As of 2 days ago they are all having issues. I have them login with Firefox but now asking them to use Google Chrome...............low and behold it works

Whats the issue as i believe it started with the latest Firefox update

Hi, Once last week I had Firefox crash, like quite literally the window I had open just closed abruptly. Tried doing the refresh using the setup wizard and it did not help. Then I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling several times. Each time it'll open up like new, and within 10 minutes the window closes randomly and then Firefox doesn't launch anymore on my laptop. No error message, just does not launch whether I try to from taskbar or Home or even run as administrator. Seemingly random I've been using Firefox for months and it just started doing this last week.

I’m encountering a strange issue with Firefox. While playing YouTube videos at very low quality (144p) just to listen to music, my GPU usage spikes to 100%. This happens even when the video is not fullscreen and there’s minimal visual content.

System Info:

   Firefox Version: 140.0.2 (64-bit)

   Operating System: Windows 11 

   CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 8700F (no integrated GPU)

   GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE

   GPU Driver Version: AMD Adrenalin 25.6.1 

The issue goes away when I disable hardware acceleration in Firefox settings, but I’d prefer to leave it enabled for better performance elsewhere.

Is this a known issue with AMD GPUs or is there something else I can try to reduce GPU usage during playback?

The errors I get are kind of all over the place though. I've completely deleted and reinstalled Firefox, and removed all extensions too.

It will loop to the login screen over and over, or I get the message 'An error has happened, try again later'...

I used the browser console and didn't get anything that seemed usable. I use Strava nearly every day so I'm having to use Safari. And this issue is on all of the mac and Windows systems I use. 'Troubleshooting Mode' didn't work either.

hey, I update my laptop windows, after updates when it restarted I have signed in to my account but bookmarks wasn't recovered. It was totally gone. I want my bookmarks back it is really important to me.
