Firefox Updates loose dictonary

Less a question, more a statement. On most updates (every? I don't know) I loose my dictionaries and the spellchecking does no longer work. Also, after an update the bro… (mear ynfo)

Less a question, more a statement. On most updates (every? I don't know) I loose my dictionaries and the spellchecking does no longer work.

Also, after an update the browser just ... dies. I mean it still works but it is if I would have no internet. Usually some tabs die before the others.

So yeah, this little rant hopefully opens a ticket and you guys can check if others have the same problem.

Also if you are wondering why nobody is upgrading. Yeah, that is the reason. I try to delay it as much as possible.

Several weeks ago, Mozilla completely reset my Firefox. Removed my addons, reset my settings in about

config. I had previously changed a lot of things, specifically stopped all videos and things moving on my page. I searched the net, and changed a few things, but I still have things moving on my pages. Thanks, Mozilla, Brave is looking better everyday. Win7 115.30 oesr I am not happy. How do I send a message right to Mozilla, Hidden and impossible.

problem with update to 140.3.1 ESR from 128.14.0 ESR

Windows 11 Pro on Lenovo ThinkCentre. I switched to ESR a while back, when the regular and ESR versions coincided. All updates since then have worked fine, until now.

When I allow Firefox to update to 140.3.1esr from 128.14.0esr, then the Firefox browser no longer works at all. It comes up, but entering a URL (by typing or bookmark) does nothing and goes nowhere, so I can't use the internet at all.

I had to use Macrium Reflect to restore my system drive to an earlier time to get back on the internet, using version 128.14.0esr, which lost some recent bookmarks, etc. I have tried this twice, with the same result.

Now, a couple of sites no longer work because they say the browser isn't current.

What can I do about this? I hope I don't have to switch to another browser, because there are Firefox extensions I use all the time. However, I can't use a non-updatable browser indefinitely, because more sites won't work.

Can I fix this?
