On a web page using a contenteditable-based rich text editor, pasting an html fragment including an hyperlink to a local file (URI file:///...) will remove the link from the pasted content.

I can enable local file links from remote pages per site basis using CAPS: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Links_to_local_pages_don%27t_work

However, how I can enable pasting such links into a contenteditable area, so that users can copy-paste such links e.g. into intranet wiki site?
