Pointer in the Lenovo laptop no longer works the firefox ver 6. The previous version worked. What is the workaround?

I'm am not sure if the latest version changes the configuration disables the pointer in Lenovo laptop pointer feature (red button use to maneuver). The pointer if very helpful to get around the website. Please provide a fix otherwise I'll need to go to another browser.
