Firefox keeps crashing and I don't know where to find "about:crashes"
In recent weeks Firefox has begun to crash repeatedly and unexpectedly - mostly when I click to open it. I often get the infuriating "well this is embarrassing" message. Most unhelpful. I send you the report of the crash and expect to hear from you as to why I am having problems but nothing happens. I can't find how to locate the "about:crashes" in the location bar. Can you explain this.

On a Mac it is Cmd+L to go to the location bar.
If you have submitted Breakpad crash reports then it might help if you post the IDs of one or more Breakpad crash reports. You can find the IDs of the submitted crash reports on the about:crashes page. You can open the about:crashes page via the location bar, just like you open a website (about: is a protocol to access internal pages). A crash GUID looks like: bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
You can copy and paste the links or the crash IDs of a few of the most recent crashes and post them on this forum.

The language doesn't mean anything tome. How do I find out why Firefox keeps crashing and how do I fix it. I am not a computer geek, just a self-employed professional who wants his computer to work properly!
Is there someone out there who can tell me why Firefox crashes unexpectedly - sometimes it just closes without any warning and I receive the tedious apology messages - on other occasions it closes when I try to open up something. How does someone who is not a computer geek get any help from Firefox or should I just find another search engine?

When you posted to this thread recently with a list of your submitted crash reports, you were replying to a question that was asked over two years ago.
This thread was locked because of a new feature just added to the Support Forum, that automatically locks a thread if it was originally created over 180 days in the past.
