Hi,

Thank you for reporting that! We've filed a bug to investigate: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2034626

To clarify, doesn't this happen with other search engines (such as Google)?

Other search engines won't have a problem

This is likely because Firefox converted the Chinese characters into Unicode characters; for example, “中文” is converted to “\u4e2d\u6587” in Unicode. See the second line in the image.

FYI this also seems broken directly on bing.com using the same device: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1582695 — They seem to have a bug even for their own use. It would be helpful if you provided Bing with the feedback so they start looking into it.
